We provide the boat, the paddles, the PFD's, and an experienced steerer to guide you.
Join us for the most exciting event on the water at Whaling Days. This event challenges teams to 500-meter sprints in an authentic Hawaiian outrigger canoe.
- 500-meter sprints.
- $25 per person
- All teams are coed
- 5 paddlers per teams (plus a Hui Heihei Wa'a steersperson)
- T-shirts to all who register befor July 1st
- Competitors in top 3 teams receive a medal
- Double-elimination event with each team guaranteed 2 races
- Registration begins at 7:45am with the first race starting at 9am.
